From 1830 to 1848 during the reign of King Louis Philippe, furniture makers in France brought the elegance of simplicity to the world through clean graceful curves and mouldings. Today the Louis Philippe collection recaptures this historical period with great care and detail. The Louis Philippe collection offers the same "je ne sai quoi" sophistication and charm of old Paris, yet reflects a quiet gentle attitude that is perfect for any decor.

Making it better

Mortise and Tenon Joints

A centuries old method of joining two pieces of wood, the mortise and tenon construction technique ensures structural stability.

Catalyzed Laquer Finish

This high quality finish enhances the natural wood grain, creating a deep long lasting glow and provides a uniform smooth texture that is exceptionally durable and resistant to various spills and chemicals.

Fitted Backs

A Flush wood back panel is framed by the top, sides, and bottom of the cabinet to provide added structural strength and elimate racking.

Smooth Drawers

Each drawer features 1/2″ solid hardwood sides and features a fully finished interior to protect your most delicate items. All drawers come as standard with accuride ball bearing drawer slides tested to 50,000 cycles.

Real English Dovetails

An English dovetail join connects the drawer front and back to the sides. It remains tight and snug after thousands of pulls.

Floating Panel Construction

Raised panels on doors, sides, and beds “float” within the frame grooves. This allows for natural expansion and contractions of the wood and prevents cracks and splits.
